I’m sure like myself, you have heard many horror stories of horses being tied up by a bridle and getting seriously injured. These ropes replace the reins, and if tied properly make leading and tying much easier and convenient.
The Get Down Rope fits and secures easily around your horse’s neck with no interference to your horse's bridle, bosal, hackamore, or sidepull. A properly tied bowline knot is recommended in order to work correctly. Other methods of tying might be wearing a halter underneath the bridle or ground tying, but a get down rope reassures a much better and easy solution to know that your horse will remain where you left them safely. When you "get down" off of your horse you now have something safe to lead your horse with. In a pinch get down ropes can also be used as a make shift halter or neck rope.
Our Get Down Ropes come in black or white, ¼”, 3/8”, or ½” diameter marine yacht rope, and have the option to have decorative braided knotted tassel ends or leather poppers. They come in your choice of 12’ & 14’, & 16’ lengths.
