Mecate reins are a great choice of reins of top horsemen because of their versatility. These 22' x 1/2" diameter rope reins provide easy to adjust loop reins and a long weighted end with a leather popper. They can also be used to tie or work a horse from the ground. Our reins are made of premium double braid polyester yachting rope that gives these reins a great feel. Your choice of tassle on one end with a latigo leather popper on the other or leather poppers on both ends.
Combine mecate reins with slobber straps to provide immediate relief from bit pressure for your horse.
